I was thinking a mixture of B-12 and sugar, but I heard an aspirin in the solution can extend the life of some flowers. I wonder if some very diluted orchid fertilizer might help?
There are many home remedies that some say will extend the life of fresh cut flowers. Nothing extends the life as well as a packet of professionally prepared floral preservative dissolved in a measured amount of warm water.

My dog has a bacterial infection in his ears. I have taken him to the vet and am using antibiotic ointment. However, I need to clean his ears between applications of the medicine. What brand or type of non-prescription ear cleansing solution works best. I have heard changing the pH by using an acidic solution works well on yeast but how about bacteria? Also any suggestions on your method of cleaning a squirming pooch?

I wouldn’t really recommend using the type of ear solution you squirt in the ear as you run the risk of forcing the bacteria deeper in the ear. I personally use unscented baby wipes for ear cleaning as I have a dog that is allergic to every ear cleaning solution I have tried. If you are in doubt of what to use I would recommend asking your vet though he/she should have told you what to use if they told you to clean between applications
I have recently discovered my indoor cats (3) have fleas! I have been spraying and combing them, but, that doesn’t seem to get the job done. (Everytime I clean and spray my smallest cat, there are more flees right after) What is the best solution to getting rid of these parasites?
They may also be in the carpet.
Would a flea dip be like, giving all of my cats a bath with flea killing shampoo? I was also thinking about buying advantage.

When I get fleas in my home, I treat all of my pets with a product I get at my vets. I use frontline on 5 of my six cats, and advantage on the 6th (his fur is rabbit like, and frontline doesn’t work well on him)
I vaccuum the house, then get rid of the vaccuum bag – cause eggs hatch, and then fleas just jump right out of the bag.
Once you use a topical product on your cat, they are protected after 24 hours. (less time for some) and any flea that jumps on it will get it on them, and it works on their nervous systems, so they will become more active before dying. a lot of people say once they use frontline they see more fleas – which is true, but they are dying fleas, which is good.
Do NOT use any OTC topical treatment on your cats. Some are ok, most are not. Even the ones that are ok, often have bad reactions on some cats. personally I wouldn’t want to take the gamble with my cats, as the expense is so much more finanically and emotionally if they have a bad reaction.
the manufactures of vet flea products will only stand behind the products (and compensate you for any problems) if you buy it from a vet. the frontline you get from secondary companies like online pet stores are not guaranteed, because they come from secondary sources. They only sell directly to vets, so product at these places either came from vets who broke their contract, from out of the country or are counterfit. Once again, I wouldn’t risk putting it on my kitty..
My face was always relatively clear. Until recently have I noticed that I am breaking out constantly. Sometimes little pimples and sometimes big. I try and take care of my face, wear relatively little make up, but I’m still breaking out. I know that it can be due to a lot of factors of why I’m breaking out but what it the best solution to stop it? I heard Proactiv is horrible and I’m not interested in it.
Change your pillowcases more often. I’ve also found that, contrary to what you might think, heavier moisturizers help prevent breakouts. The less dry skin you have, the less likely the dry skin will clog your pores and make zits.
I need to run about 10 different slide shows on a wall display outside of 10 different offices. Will small HDTVs with card readers be the best solution? Perhaps hooking up a computer to a standard monitor and drilling through the wall? This is for a workplace so I was hoping someone had experience with doing something similar.
The card reader TV is a great solution if you want an easy answer. All you do is load JPEGS onto the USB drive and you are good to go. PowerPoint presentations can be saved as JPEG files so it will work that way too.
If you were to connect a PC to each TV that means you would need a dedicated PC for each TV ($$$).

Umm, hydrogen freezes at -434 degrees Fahrenheit. It won’t even become a liquid until it gets colder than -423 degrees Fahrenheit. So unless Florida is going to be 400 degrees below zero or more, I wouldn’t worry about the hydrogen freezing.

Fastest way to get rid of them is to exfoliate skin. Just google medical crystals, with them you can create home scrub that exfoliates dead cells and with them stretch marks go away too.
